The property was extensively modernised and fully refurnished in 2011 and can accommodate a total of 147 students, 10 in single rooms, 96 in twin rooms and 41 in shared apartments.

The property meets the latest standards and energy efficiency requirements. Its facade is equipped with a photovoltaic system.

The rooms are furnished with a desk, chair, bed, shelves and fitted cupboard. The shared flats have their own bathroom (with shower/WC) and a fully equipped kitchen with dining area.

The rooms have gigabyte Ethernet internet access as standard. All rooms have TV reception. The reception type varies from residence to residence, and might be changed in the course of the rental contract. Presently our tenants receive TV via cable TV and IPTV. These costs are already covered by the monthly rent.

A laundry with washing machines and dryers is located in the basement. The machines can be operated with the payment chip on your student identity card.
A parking deck and basement garage provide plenty of space for parking. The building also has basement storage for bikes.

The property is around five kilometres from the University.
A bank, chemist, hairdresser and all major grocery discounters are situated within walking distance.

Essen-Borbeck S-Bahn train station is 450 m from the student residence.
